Wilkinson Wedding

So I'm a little behind on the posting, big surprise coming from me...hee-hee. So enough excuses and lets get right to the meat of the matter. What am I posting now?

Below are a few images from a wedding I did waaaaaay back in September. I was lucky enough to be asked by Lisa and Steve to capture their wedding day and it was Gorgeous! The wedding was held at Rose Sach's Garden up Parleys Canyon. I have lived in the Salt Lake Valley my whole life and I had never heard of Rose Sach's Garden before. WOW what I have missed! Waterfalls, rock walls, scenic mountains, endless bridges, rock pathways, lots and lots of steps it was a photographers play-land. I had a lot of favorite images from my time with Steve, Lisa and their friends and family but I have to admit that first image you see captured the whole experience. The color of the environment, the lighting provided by nature, the accent colors of the sash and bouquet and my favorite of all the "Mona Lisa" expression worn perfectly by the bride. Timeless beauty! Thank you Lisa and Steve!

California Here I Come!

On Facebook I had mentioned babies, families and weddings OH MY! So lets back up to July. So many highlights but tonight I am going to focus on the Weddings Oh My!

Matt and Jen-Jen got married WHATWOOO! The best part of the wedding, besides their eternal bliss, is that I got to play wedding photographer. Oh wait, that is not the best part.....the best part was that the wedding was in LA, as in California! OH YEA!

I was in and out of LA rather quickly but I had a great time and came home with some unforgettable memories.

The ceremony was in the LA Temple while we were waiting for the couple greet family I stepped behind the iron doors to see what it would look like to the bride and groom as they exited the temple.

I later learned from the nice temple worker that I was breaking the rules by stepping behind those doors. But I do love the image! :)
I was so fascinated with the skyline around the temple. The sky scrappers were so awesome to play with....I loooved it!
So the last bit I have to say about this is NEVER give the groom the camera! He thought he was so cleaver snapping this image. Thank you Matt :p I guess that is what I deserved after a long day of sticking the camera in his face. Moving on.......to see more images from Matt and Jen's wedding day check out my photos on my FB page.

oH HapPy DaY!

Awe! Another fabulous day to capture the energy of a wedding. We giggled, they kissed, we posed and they danced the night away. It was a HapPy DaY! Thanks for letting me be a part of your day!

Soooo Much Fun!!

It shouldn't be legal to have so much fun working. The weather was perfect, the bride was beautiful and the pictures.........
It was great that my second hand man (woman) was able to shoot a second camera for this event she did a great job and we were able to capture so many great candids of all the children and family members! Thanks J - let's do it again :)
