Let It Snow

Who says it doesn't snow indoors? Okay I have only two things to say; WOW with the curly hair and love, love, love the dresses!! Hey mom, it is always a treat to make your girls giggle.

Girls just wanta have fun....

The face of MK Photography

Does this handsome kid look familiar? If he looks familiar it is because it is his face on my business cards. This is "X" man. I have been taking his pictures since before he was born. :) He is just so stinkin cute. (Mom and dad are cute too, of course) I always look forward to playing with "X" everytime his parents bring him in to visit me. Maybe "Mary Kim" will be one of his first 250 words ;)

Cathing Up...

In an attempt to speed up my cathcing up I have lumped a few different session together. These are some images that were taken in studio on different occassions but they all have the same theme; my brown backdrop. Oh yes, and one more thing, beautiful faces. I don't know how I have been so lucky to have the best looking clients visit me.

Downtown....

I have had so many great session and shots these last few weeks and it is time to update! This session was a blast. I love this first picture. I don't think they realized what a great time I had watching them play. It was a little chilly on our outing downtown but these two children were troopers. Little "J" was awesome. He perked right up and decided that he loved being in front of the camera. It took a little longer for princess "A" to warm up once she did I got some amazingly beautiful shots of her. I had a hard time narrowing it down to which images I wanted to post so I had to share a few more than I normally do.

A Walk In The Park

Okay, so my playtime is usually with children but a few weeks back I got to have a whole new experience. What a rush! Isn't this a beautiful family?! I really got to stretch my skills as a photographer and I had a great time. Getting three dogs to look at me at the same time was not as hard as I had planned on. This motley crew was a blast and so well behaved. My favorite part of the shoot was when I asked to get a couple of shots of mom and dad the kids (dogs) sat there so sweetly and watched. (Check out picture #3) It was so cute I can't believe they sat so patiently while I readjusted my camera to capture the dogs watching their mom and dad. It made my new experience a walk in the park!

Even Steven

My two previous posts were about baby boys I played with in November. It is time to even the score with two baby girls I met in November. With this first little girl, baby "A", doesn't she look like she belongs in a Bessie Pease painting. I love it! Baby "S" below had a beautiful pink hue about her. I loved how the pink blanket complimented those pink pouty lips and those bright eyes. Watch out boys!

Introductions

These images speak for themselves. Yummy! I just want to eat him up. Of course I am a bit bias because #1 I am related and #2 he shares the same name as my own little guy. Even though he lives a few state away I was so excited to have him and his parents come to my studio for playtime when they came to Salt Lake for a visit. I had been anxiously awaiting meeting this babe. It was worth the wait! I love you guys! I am so thrilled for you, you are dang cute parents!

Treat

I am so way behind on updating my blog I sincerely apologize. Tis the season to be busy...... but despite the "hustle, bustle" of the season I found a sweet "rose" to, as they say, stop and smell. This little guy is so precious. He into this world a bit early but arrived just in time for Halloween. He is Tini Tiny which made for a dramatic contrast between babe and daddy. I had a great time trying to capture that very aspect. Check out picture number two. I love the way he snuggled up in his daddy's arms. Look at his little hand. His whole hand was not even bigger than his dad's thumb. Sweet :>
