Baby Feet!

This is a photo shoot for a dear friend of mine and her month old baby girl. Doesn't she look like a doll. I love the sweet expression in this first picture. As for the other two darling pictures all I can say is: to those who know me well you know I have a freakish fear of feet, but baby feet don't count! My husband laughs at me because I can't ever seem to get enough pictures of little baby feet because I love them so much. I guess if you think about it, it is weird. But who can pass up such yummy toes?

On location

I was so excited when this mother called to tell me she had an addition in her family. I was ready and waiting to meet her at her home after she returned from the hospital with her sweet baby boy. He was not even a week old and I got to play with him and his older brother. The natural lighting was great and I was so pleased with the turn out from this shoot. These are some dang cute boys!

So Fun!

If it looks like we were having too much fun it's because we were! Alta is beautiful this time of year and made a great setting for this session. You know it's good if you can get dad to laugh!

Yummy!

YUMMY!
Senic backdrop,
Darling baby,
Setting sun -
Gently mix together for the perfect recipe!

Here in this secret garden I had a blast playing with this group of cousins. My assistant said if every group was as well behaved as this group I wouldn't need an assitant. They were amazingly well behaved! OH, I love my job!! Thank you, thank you "A"!

I was so excited to have this beautiful family call me again this year. We met at Memory Grove and had a very fun morning playing with my Chinese umbrella and of course my pettiskirts!

Jared

I met my hero last week. This is 7 year old Jared. Jared has been diagnosed with Chordoma (which is a tumor in the skull area). Jared has been through surgery already to have this tumor removed but I just found out (today) that resent test are showing that the tumor has returned and has spread to the area behind his throat and down his neck. Jared and his parents have been travelling across country for the last few months to meet with doctors and other specialist and only had a day or two here at home to be with family and friends before heading back across country to start the next battle in the ugly world of tumors, chemotherapy.
My souls desire was to capture the love and tenderness Jared's parents showed to him and his siblings. I didn't have to do much coaxing the kids were natural models with georgeous eyes and great expressions. We had a great time at Memory Grove. The lighting was perfect, the weather was warm, and I was lucky enough to get to spend an hour and some with this beautiful family. Thank you for enriching my life with your example of faith, optimism, and love.

"P" cousins Playtime

I love Mr. Chicken! If you think he is cute you should hear him squawk!
Look at those curls.
This shot turned out so cute! Who knew. One of these boys was not feeling well so we joined him on the ground and ta-dah success!

The "T" Girls

These ladies I have worked with for about 2 years now and I love it every time. This time we headed up the canyon. We were able to take advantage of the amazing wild flowers that surrounded us. Of course I had to pull out my new pettiskirts. M loved it and once she put the skirt on a whole new attitude was born.
I love this shot because it shows us how K really feels about having pictures done. We took our time and were able to get some beautiful pictures. Candy works everytime ;)
This is my favorite! She is so cute and this shot worked so well. Aren't these dresses amazing. They were made by their mother. WOW!!
Awe the innocence of youth :) Thanks mom and dad for letting me play with your girls.
